Here's how I celebrated my birthday week.
On Friday night, another intern Megan and I went to a nightclub called Avenue. I met a club promoter named Dima who got us in for free and we also got free VIP service the entire night! To do this without a promoter, it would have costed us upwards of $500+. It was definitely a great way to celebrate my almost-birthday!! Check out my super cheesy Birthday Crown necklace:
Saturday was a lot more relaxed! I ran some errands and spend the rest of the evening on top of my friend's rooftop in Brooklyn. There was an amazing view of Manhattan and it looked absolutely stunning at night.
On Sunday, I spent the entire day shooting for Ever Row. I'm a Campus Ambassador for them and since they're located in Manhattan, it worked out perfectly to do a photo shoot! We shot in the Upper East Side and I felt like I was Serena Van Der Woodsen!
My 20th birthday was on Tuesday and it was one of the best birthdays yet! I started the day by getting Chipotle for lunch (because what else would I eat?). I also saw the movie Secret Life of Pets which was so adorable- I LOVE that it took place in New York City! After the movie, I stopped to get some cake batter ice cream at Cold Stone. I also talked to my Big on the phone for about an hour and caught up which I absolutely loved; I miss her so much! Afterwards, I met up with a friend for my birthday dinner. We hung out all night and I got home around midnight because I had work the following morning.
On Wednesday at work, my office surprised me with flowers, balloons, and ice cream! I love my internship!
On Thursday, I went to dinner at this gorgeous place called Hudson Eats. It's located in the Financial District near Battery Park and the One World Trade Center, right on the Hudson River. It's a giant food court full of really nice restaurants! I ate outside because look at this amazing view:

Unfortunately I was unable to do anything on Friday after work because I have strep throat and my doctor advised that I stay inside for the evening!
This marks the beginning of my last full weekend here! I'll be leaving next Sunday, the 31st; so it's a very bittersweet feeling. I hope that this last week is one to remember!
Check back next week for my last New York City update!
